More fun with brushed metal!

At work, I use VMWare to run multiple virtual machines on one physical computer. So I can quickly tell which one I'm working on, I made up a series of background images. This one is for Redhat Liinux 7.2, codenamed Enigma.

This one is for Sid, the unstable release of Debian GNU/Linux. (GNU/Linux is the proper technical name for most Linux distributions, and the nice fols at Debian like to get things right)

This one is for Windows XP. It's not Linux, and it's not free.

Notice the shading on the grey background metal. Without it, the images look flat and lifeless. It was done by using render/lighting effects onto a 50% grey layer, set to hard light.
